Rain Bird is a leading irrigation manufacturer, with high growth ambitions for its operations in Mexico which constitutes one of the key irrigation markets in the region. The General Manager of Rain Bird Mexico is both the leader and the manager of the business entity. This person will be responsible for achieving sales and market share growth objectives and ensuring smooth and profitable operations. This person will hire and coach staff effectively to best support growth objectives and set high customer service standards

Responsibilities

• Achieving sales and market share goals
• Achieving the subsidiary’s P&L, budget, and margin targets
• Setting, implementing, and executing strategic business plan
• Hiring, leading, developing, and coaching a talented team of professionals in Sales, Operations, Service; justify and hire additional positions, as the business grows
• Developing the staff as well as implementing effective succession planning and performance management
• Build and enhance relationships with key customers, influencers, and stakeholders in the market
• Managing effectiveness of operations including inventory level and accuracy, customer service, purchasing, import / export, A / P and A / R, information systems and compliance
• Identifying, prioritizing, and pursuing business broadening opportunities throughout the region
• Work closely and collaboratively with the different Strategic Business Unit (SBU) in the US to ensure that Rain Bird Mexico needs are supported as well as the country adequately supports the SBUs’ objectives
