Overview
The main location for this position is Mexico City .
The ES&O Maintenance Planner for the Americas region is responsible for creating maintenance plans for existing ESS customers with service agreements. This includes creating and maintaining annual maintenance plans, parts lists, and work schedules. The candidate should be comfortable working with several projects in different geographical locations and time zones, and thrive in a fast paced, changing environment during growth.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain maintenance plans for contractual equipment
- Ensure maintenance plans are executed according to time schedule and work scope
- Create contract lifetime maintenance plan
- Update annual and detailed maintenance plans for assigned contracts and prepare input for annual financial maintenance planning
- Proactively seek performance improvement possibilities and ensure operational and technical improvements are proposed
- Create sales opportunities in CRM, or if part of contract, in maintenance management tool
- Ensure availability of required spare parts, exchange parts, field service resources and required maintenance tools at installation as per maintenance plan
- Monitor site spare part inventory where applicable
- Monitor that maintenance tasks are executed within the targeted time, and Wärtsilä Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Guidelines as well as Customer Site Procedures are followed
- Communicate and report with Contract Managers and customers around maintenance management
- May assist in and / or provide input to the formulation, development and / or revision of operating policies, procedures, and strategies for the organization
- Provide project status updates to Manager of Life Cycle Management and senior management team
- Collaborate with internal field service team to schedule work
- Create and maintain core maintenance plans for all ES&O products
- Retrieve up-to-date spare part data from all battery, PCS vendors
Education and Professional Requirement
Education and Professional Requirement :
Must have a BSc in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or relevant work experience in Energy Storage and Renewables. Candidate must be fluent in English and Spanish.Development Responsibilities
