As a Program Manager II, you will be the subject matter expert to incorporate customer demand, running transportation capacity analysis, running simulation peak scenarios, and synchronizing our supply and demand over the 1 to 12 week horizon projections in order to meet our customer's needs. You will lead middle mile transportation planning initiatives, developing scalable solutions for network optimization and working closely with cross-functional teams to execute strategies. Your role involves analyzing complex datasets to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements, creating contingency plans for peak seasons, and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders across the network. You'll be responsible for developing comprehensive capacity models, monitoring performance metrics, and providing data-driven recommendations to leadership. This position requires expertise in transportation operations, weekly planning, and the ability to translate analytical insights into actionable solutions for AMZL MX's growing network.

About the team
The Middle Mile Volume Planning team is responsible for forecasting and planning the outbound transportation flows across the entire AMZL MX network, striving to achieve optimal forecast accuracy through continuous data analysis. The team coordinates with S&OP, 3PC, FC Operations, Delivery Stations, and other internal stakeholders to optimize transportation movement between facilities while identifying opportunities for network efficiency improvements and cost optimization.
