We are looking for motivated, performance-driven professionals to be part of our Privacy Operations team within the Security and Privacy Operations (SPO) department in the Technology organization. This team manages daily privacy activities and advises on privacy by design, working closely with product, legal, and other business teams to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory standards. Your work will impact Insulet's products and processes globally.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a small team of privacy professionals focused on privacy operations excellence, including handling data subject requests, incident management, vendor due diligence, and privacy impact assessments.
  • Drive privacy program maturity initiatives and prepare for new regulations and market expansion.
  • Provide privacy guidance to HR, finance, customer support, marketing, sales, legal, and technology teams, ensuring alignment with Privacy by Design principles.
  • Manage privacy risks by developing risk registers, proposing solutions, and collaborating with business partners.
  • Develop and maintain privacy policies and procedures in coordination with management, legal, and engineering teams.
  • Identify and implement improvements to the global privacy program, including tooling and privacy-enhancing technologies.

  • Develop privacy documents, policies, and procedures aligned with SPO leadership's strategy.
  • Serve as the main liaison for privacy operations and privacy by design across internal teams.
  • Authorize privacy reviews of systems, vendors, and processes.

  • Skills & Competencies

  • Deep knowledge of privacy principles, data protection laws, and technical privacy techniques.
  • Quick learner of new technologies and system architectures.
  • Excellent communication skills at all organizational levels.
  • Education & Experience

  • Professional Privacy Certification (e.g., CIPP, CIPM, CIPT) or Privacy Engineering certification.
  • Minimum of 8+ years of privacy experience in regulated industries, preferably life sciences or tech.
  • Experience leading privacy teams and strategic initiatives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Privacy Law, IT, or related field.
  • Additional Information

  • The position is hybrid at our Mexican office, ideally in Tijuana.
  • Travel estimated at 5%, flexible based on business needs.
  • Note : The role requires on-site work at least three days a week. #LI-Hybrid
