Mid-level QA Engineer (Manual & Automation) (US-based Company)

Work Arrangement : Fully remote, overlapping EST working hours.

Job Type : Full-time

Work Schedule : 40 hours per week, with core hours between 10 AM – 6 PM EST

Locations : Remote, open to candidates globally.

Role Overview

As a QA Engineer , you will report to the QA Lead and focus on hands-on execution of both manual and automated testing. This is a mid-level, IC role , ideal for someone who is proactive, enjoys problem-solving, and wants to contribute to building scalable QA practices.

Your work will primarily involve manual testing (smoke, regression, exploratory) , while gradually contributing to automation efforts under the guidance of the QA Lead.

Key Responsibilities

QA Execution

• Execute manual test cases across smoke, regression, and exploratory scenarios.
• Support QA Lead in testing new features and validating end-to-end workflows.
• Contribute to automated testing over time (front-end and back-end) as guided.
• Assist with API-level, functional, and UI regression testing.
• Participate in defect triage and help improve QA processes.
