By aligning site initiatives with broader organizational goals, this leader addresses facility-specific challenges, champions sustainable practices, builds strong supplier and customer partnerships, and drives continuous improvement efforts to elevate overall performance and contribute to the organization's success.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESCollaborate across production and related functions to define and implement best-in-class manufacturing practices, driving efficiency, quality, and safety.Ensure adherence to production plans, optimize processes to minimize costs, and manage third-party manufacturing relationships.Translate business strategy into clear, actionable goals and proactively lead teams to deliver outstanding results.Develop and empower the workforce, fostering a culture of motivation and continuous competence development.
Oversee recruitment, management, and development of team members.Oversee maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance of assets, collaborating with technical teams for ongoing improvements.Define and manage facility budget objectives, ensuring alignment with organizational guidelines and optimizing resource utilization (P&L ownership, financial performance, KPIs).
Uphold quality standards and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and certifications.Execute and optimize production processes, integrating new technologies to enhance competitiveness.Lead and facilitate improvement projects to enhance production cycles and drive operational excellence.QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field required; postgraduate degree preferred.Fluency in local language and strong proficiency in English; additional languages a plus.10+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, ideally with multi-site leadership experience.Proven success in multinational, matrix organizations.Experience across multiple functions (e.g., Planning, Operations, HR) and business segments preferred.Adaptability to diverse business contexts and a record of delivering results in dynamic environments.Willingness to travel up to 10%.
