Software Engineer I

Job Description

Software Engineer I implements applications following 12-factor principles to build and enhance products. They partner on backend development, leveraging test-driven development and continuous integration to ensure quality and agility. They actively participate in team decision-making, ensuring the use of appropriate technology and design to meet user needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Designs systems and applications collaboratively within the team
• Practices paired programming and test-driven development daily
• Participates in daily standups, retrospectives, and planning sessions
• Shares knowledge and contributes to team growth
• Establishes and maintains CI / CD pipelines
• Supports software in user environments
• Collaborates on resolving system issues through debugging and troubleshooting
• Works with teams updating systems based on product changes following a structured plan
• Follows established patterns for web modifications
• Monitors server performance and addresses issues promptly
• Rotates weekly between development and server monitoring tasks

Remote work is supported; candidates must reside in Mexico.
