Job DescriptionThis role is responsible for the efficient management of all available resources for the manufacturing of single-conductor and multi-conductor electromechanical cables. Ensure compliance with the weekly/monthly production schedule. Collaborate with Quality, Shop Floor Control, Engineering, Maintenance, and other departments to achieve KPIs such as manufacturing expenses, accident rate, quality indicators, daily absorption, NMV, OTD, and OEE, all within a safe environment for both assigned personnel and customers, while also contributing to a positive work environment

Functions and responsibilities
- Meet weekly and/or monthly production plans.
- Achieve monthly labor cost projections.
- Achieve monthly projections for variable production costs.
- Achieve monthly projections for machine absorption per day.
- Achieve monthly NMV projections.
- Follow the plant’s Industrial Safety plan.
- Participate in 8D exercises to identify process deviations.
- Participate in exercises to identify the root causes of near misses and incidents.
- Contribute to process and equipment improvements.
- Participate in the development and implementation of improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with production programs in terms of delivery time, quality, and cost.
- Adhere to the EMC Safety Plan.
- Conduct preventive safety observations.
- Identify areas for improvement in operational staff skills and request training events.
- Apply corrective actions when detecting low efficiencies in any process or machine.
- Foster and collaborate in maintaining a positive work environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
- Understanding of basic statistical tools
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Knowledge of basic problem analysis tools (Pareto, 8D, 5 Whys, etc.)
- Basic English proficiency, mainly reading and writing.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing tools
