We are looking for a Lead Test Automation Engineer (.NET) to spearhead quality assurance efforts for our cutting-edge digital payments platform. This role emphasizes leadership, mentoring, and technical expertise, with a 50 / 50 split between overseeing automation testing initiatives and hands-on manual testing across a diverse range of systems and applications.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the creation and review of test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and reports
  • Lead functional and non-functional testing efforts, including regression, acceptance, usability, and cross-platform assessments
  • Define and guide advanced security testing strategies for MVC / SPA applications and Web APIs
  • Partner with cross-team Agile collaborations, ensuring alignment with SAFe practices
  • Establish and refine efficient defect tracking and risk mitigation processes
  • Architect, enhance, and maintain scalable automation frameworks with Selenium and C#
  • Supervise and analyze performance testing to validate system scalability and reliability
  • Standardize and optimize API testing practices using .NET frameworks and tools
  • Champion best practices for continuous testing in CI / CD workflows (TeamCity, Octopus, etc.)
  • Utilize advanced testing and diagnostic tools like TestRail, MS SQL, ELK stack, Postman, Fiddler, and Sentry for better insights
  • Foster close collaboration across teams to enhance product quality and address technical challenges

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in QA analysis, test estimation, and automation strategy design
  • At least 1 year of relevant leadership experience
  • Deep proficiency in Selenium with C# and SpecFlow using Gherkin syntax for writing automation tests
  • Extensive hands-on experience with comprehensive API testing using .NET frameworks
  • Proven expertise in backend testing, including interactions with Windows services and APIs
  • Strong familiarity with leading automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or comparable technologies
  • Broad experience using TestRail, MS SQL, ELK stack, Sentry, Postman, Fiddler, and CI / CD pipelines like TeamCity and Octopus
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and lead continuous testing enhancements
  • Expertise in root cause analysis, defect management, and robust risk mitigation practices
  • Ability to proactively refine and scale QA strategies to optimize performance for mission-critical products
  • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills to guide QA teams and improve collaboration
  • Ability to communicate technical details and provide insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively
  • Advanced English skills to collaborate effectively with English-speaking teams
