Forvis Mazars is seeking a Senior Transaction Services professional. We are looking for a motivated and collaborative Senior to join our growing Transaction Services team at Forvis Mazars Mexico. In this role, you will lead financial due diligence engagements for both buy-side and sell-side transactions, helping clients assess opportunities and risks across various industries. You will work alongside our experienced professionals to deliver value-added insights, structure transactions effectively, and support clients throughout the full lifecycle of a deal, from initial evaluation to post-acquisition integration. Key Responsibilities - Conduct financial due diligence for both buy-side and sell-side transactions. - Analyze the financial performance and operational results of target companies. - Prepare Quality of Earnings (QoE ) reports and identify key diligence issues and value drivers. - Evaluate financial trends, normalize EBITDA, and identify potential post-transaction risks or synergies. - Lead client meetings, support executive discussions, and maintain communication throughout engagements. - Collaborate with international and local teams to deliver cross-border projects (U.S. and Mexico). - Develop robust Excel models for financial analysis and valuation purposes. - Supervise and mentor junior team members to ensure quality and efficiency. - Support partners and managers in proposal development, client presentations, and business development initiatives. - Stay current on industry trends and best practices related to M&A; and due diligence. Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. - 5+ years of experience in financial due diligence, M&A; advisory, or Transaction Services (ideally in a consulting or Big 4 environment). - Advanced skills in Excel and financial modeling. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. - Proactive, client-focused, and collaborative mindset. - Experience working with U.S. and / or international clients is highly desirable.
