Responsibilities

What are your contributions to the team?

  • You will work directly on the modification or acquisition of new tools and materials necessary to ensure continuity of operations.
  • You will ensure the application of procurement procedures, techniques and practices for the design of tools.
  • You will manage the configuration change of new tooling or services.
  • You will manage the development of processes and procedures.
  • You will positively influence the work team, being a role model in adhering to the internal standards and values of the organization.
  • Based on technical documentation, you will have the technical knowledge to propose process improvements to ensure design and functionality of tools.
  • You will make and manage quotations with suppliers for the purchase of spare parts for machinery and equipment, as well as contract with them specialized service.
  • You will identify critical spare parts.
  • You will assist in ensuring adherence to the assigned budget for assigned cost centers.
  • Qualifications and Skills

    How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience :

  • You hold at least 3 years of experience in desing and tools management.
  • Possess knowledge of managing budgets.
  • Must have a high level of ability to seek cost reduction opportunities.
  • You have ability to interact effectively with other teams and suppliers, as needed, to troubleshoot and resolve component sourcing issues required on highly complex, sophisticated and automated equipment.
  • You have electrical engineering, electronic engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial maintenance, industrial or related.
  • Possesses an intermediate level of written and read technical English, able to maintain conversations with foreign suppliers and production managers.
  • You have knowledge of CAD software is desirable.
