Full Job Description :

The Export sales department in Mexico is responsible for supporting the sales of power electronics equipment for various oil&gas and industrial markets. Customers are typically oil-service companies, OEMs, EPSs, and dealers in industrial markets. The equipment we develop, manufacture, and service are primarily low- and medium-voltage drives, downhole sensors, and linear ESP.

We are looking for a Business Development Manager in Mexico with proven experience in the Oil & Gas industry, strong knowledge of submersible and surface equipment, and the ability to quickly gain expertise in our products.

We seek a driven professional eager for new career opportunities, who can not only maintain effective relationships with our key customers in Mexico and Central America markets, but also identify and onboard new clients, building partnerships from the ground up.

The ideal candidate will take ownership of product development initiatives, focusing on enhancing solutions to align with customer needs and objectives.

The job involves business trips across Mexico and Central America, Europe.

Your responsibilities :

  • The responsibilities of the Business Development Manager include implementing the sales strategy in the Mexico and Central America region within the oil production market segment, achieving sales targets to maximize marginal income, and actively contributing to the development of overall strategic plans.
  • Conduct market analysis and research to identify target customers and key projects. Develop a unique selling proposition for the company and formulate effective strategies for project implementation. Engage in lead generation and cold calling, deliver compelling presentations about the company and its products, assess customer interest, acquire new clients, and convert them into long-term partners.
  • Initiate and implement tailored technical solutions where no established product policies exist, ensuring customer needs are met effectively.
  • Oversee the key stages of product manufacturing and implementation at the customer’s site. Manage orders from existing customers and facilitate product approval processes for new clients.
  • Coordinate and oversee the shipment of products, ensuring full compliance with delivery deadlines and contractual terms specified for each customer.
  • Manage business correspondence with existing, new, and potential customers, ensuring consistent communication throughout all stages of product development and production until delivery. Ensure fulfillment of all contractual obligations, negotiate contract terms, and successfully close deals.
  • Conduct business trips to customer facilities to gain firsthand insights into their operations and deliver optimal solutions for both current and future projects and equipment needs.
  • Gather feedback from customers by analyzing their product (goods and services) requirements, identifying any sources of dissatisfaction, and taking necessary actions to address and resolve issues, ensuring the maintenance of strong business relationships.
  • Stay informed about the company's product policy and solutions, and effectively communicate any changes to customers. Actively promote the company's solutions and represent the brand at exhibitions, conferences, seminars, webinars, and other events that support sales growth and brand visibility.
  • Manage a small team of Key Account Manager and Technical Support Engineer, responsible for the Mexico and Central America market, ensuring effective coordination and achievement of regional business objectives

Our requirements :

  • Strong knowledge of the Mexico and Central America market, with personal contacts at companies and among customers specializing in low-voltage equipment, submersible equipment, and power electronics
  • Experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with a deep understanding of end clients across the region and a track record in selling surface and downhole equipment (low-voltage drives, sensors, ESP).
  • A minimum of 4 years of sales experience in electrical engineering and power electronics, with a focus on implementing product improvements to meet customer goals and expectations.
  • Strong experience in negotiating with top corporate executives and decision-makers.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to build strong business relationships with customers.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and persuasive communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in prioritizing tasks within a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
  • Capable of meeting tight deadlines, following up on commitments, and taking appropriate action
  • A completed higher technical education.
  • Language proficiency : Spanish (C1+), English (C1+).

    This position offers full-time remote work as a specialist at Triol, with the flexibility to work from home. You will engage in conferences, calls, and email communications with customers, ensuring efficient collaboration and support
