Enforces the Trade Compliance program for the organization. Ensures conformance with all legislative, regulatory, and / or accreditation requirements. Coordinates trade compliance training programs and communications as necessary.

- Coordination of yearly activities with the CTPAT / AEO Security profiles
Annual update of the CTPAT Profile
AEO profile update when applicableExecution of internal and external audits of business partnersCarriers
Custom BrokersService providersInternal audits to all AAM applicable plants.Follow up closing finding for internal and external audits.Supplier files creation including contractsCarriers
Custom BrokersService providersTo coordinate external audits from US and MX custom authoritiesProcedure maintenance and updates with the new controls implemented.Update risk assessment as required.Communicated and training for all AAM areas as required.Implementation of CTPAT / AEO systems improvementsAttention and coordination to any requirement by customers and suppliers related to certification programsDevelop and update policies, procedures, and work instructions regarding CTPAT / OAS programsFollow-up and review of the update of the matrix of business partnersSupport in activities inherent to the trade compliance department related to timely compliance with the formalities required by governmental or private authorities IMMEX / CIVAParticipation in special projects aimed at ensuring proper compliance with the laws applicable in Mexico.Required Skills And Education
International Business, Supply Chain Management bachelor´s degree or similar.3 to 5 years of work experience.Mexican Regulatory Trade Compliance (SAT, Customs and Ministry of Economy).Good problem-solving and auditing skills.Leadership and facilitation skills.Availability to travel 15%-20%.Project management experience.Fluent English and Spanish (written and spoken).Knowledge of Foreign Trade Programs : CTPAT, IMMEX, PROSEC, VAT / AEO Certification.Analytical and focused on results.Ability to communicate and work in a team.About AAM
