The Production Planning Analyst works on the holistic development and implementation of a supply chain that will produce sustained on time delivery performance, targeted customer lead time breakthroughs and optimized financial results.
The Production Planner will ensure the Sales and Operations Planning processes efficiently achieve customer service levels.
Temporary PositionGeneral Responsibilities Responsible for planning production for manufacturing lines.
Reviews and maintains manufacturing routings.
Generates production plans and shop ordersAnalyzes requirements and plans for capacity based on forecast as well as what if scenariosInvestigates and reports on potential production problemsCoordinates with production supervisors and purchasing, communicates with customer service to meet customer needsFollow-up as required with all teams to expedite flow of materials and documents to meet production schedule and customer expectationAnalyzes requirements and plans for capacity based on forecast as well as what if scenariosUtilizes ERP system to develop, track and maintain key metrics to monitor production performance.
