Our client is looking for an experienced and driven Accounting Manager to join a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The company specializes in preparing growing businesses for significant financial milestones—such as mergers and acquisitions, large-scale financing, and expansion initiatives. Their mission is to build and implement robust financial systems and processes that strengthen clients’ financial health and operational readiness.

They are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and client-facing professional capable of leading and mentoring a team, managing multiple priorities, and ensuring both accuracy and compliance across all financial activities.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

Accounting Oversight & FP&A : Lead all accounting and financial planning activities for client accounts, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and monthly reporting. Ensure accuracy, consistency, and strategic alignment in all deliverables.

Team Leadership & Operations : Manage and mentor the accounting and FP&A team, assign and review tasks, provide feedback, and maintain accountability. Step in when needed to support team absences and ensure continued delivery.

Client Advisory & Deliverables : Own all client deliverables from onboarding through ongoing support. Serve as a strategic advisor, providing financial insights to drive business growth and informed decision-making.

Compliance, Controls & Technical Execution : Oversee AP / AR, reconciliations, journal entries, and month / year-end closes. Ensure financial statements comply with U.S. GAAP, meet tax requirements, and reflect accurate performance insights. Lead timely tax filings and implement tax strategies.

Process Optimization & Service Excellence : Continuously improve SOPs, implement automation tools, and strengthen internal controls. Deliver premium service through proactive communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building.

🎓 Qualifications

• 3-5 years of accounting and finance experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Experience in financial statement preparation and general ledger functions
• Proficient in QuickBooks Online IS A MUST!!!
• Familiarity with project management and accounting tools such as ClickUp and Keeper
• Prior experience in business consulting or client-facing service roles IS A MUST!!
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and efficient under tight deadlines
