Who You'll Work With

You'll join the Global Workforce Planning and Staffing team, supporting capacity and investment planning for Vector, Bain's 600+ person global team of technologists, designers, engineers, and data scientists.

Your role will support data-driven decision making for one of Bain's fastest-growing groups.

You'll report to the Director, Global Workforce Planning and Staffing, collaborating with Vector leadership, Talent Planning, and internal functions.

Where You'll Fit Within the Team

As the Analyst, Talent Data & Reporting, you will manage and analyze datasets related to staffing, talent deployment, and skills, providing accurate and actionable insights to senior stakeholders.

Critical thinking, data accuracy, and proactive error checking are essential for success.

This is an in-office role based in Bain's Mexico City GBS office.

What You'll Do

Data Management & Reporting

Maintain and update datasets on staffing, resourcing, and investments

Create dashboards and reports for leadership visibility

Ensure quality and accuracy of reports through regular updates

Analysis & Insights

Conduct targeted analyses for project prioritization and capacity forecasting

Translate business questions into analytical outputs

Identify patterns and anomalies affecting strategic decisions

Communication & Collaboration

Present findings clearly to stakeholders

Collaborate with team members to understand data context

Participate in discussions to explain insights and solutions

Problem Solving & Business Insight

Assess data implications for business strategies

Provide actionable recommendations

Quality Control & Accuracy

Implement quality assurance techniques

Build tools and documentation for data integrity

Tooling & Automation

Use Excel, Alteryx, Tableau, PowerPoint for analysis and reporting

Recommend automation to streamline processes

(Optional) Use SQL or Python for complex data tasks

About You

Must Have :

3+ years in data analytics, reporting, or similar roles

Proficiency in Excel, Tableau, PowerPoint, Alteryx

Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

Strong problem-solving skills

Ability to manage large datasets

Ownership, reliability, and accountability

Excellent communication skills

Ability to work across time zones

Bachelor's in a quantitative field

Nice to Have :

Experience with SQL or Python

Knowledge of people analytics or HR systems

Consulting or professional services experience

Experience with automated reporting
