This role is fast-paced and problem-solving oriented, requiring resourcefulness, articulate communication, and the ability to deliver diverse solutions across PC and IoT technologies. The team collaborates with silicon engineers to integrate next-generation features and performance enhancements for upcoming hardware.

As a Partner Engineering Manager at Canonical, your responsibilities include managing relationships with key technology partners, ensuring timely project delivery, providing technical leadership, developing engineers, influencing company culture, and strategizing with your team.

What you'll do

• Lead a distributed engineering team to design and implement optimal Ubuntu integrations for IoT and server hardware platforms.
• Engage with partners to deliver a high-quality, optimised Ubuntu experience on their platforms.
• Develop your team through coaching, mentoring, leading by example, and providing feedback.
• Oversee commercial engagements and ensure project milestones are met.
• Maintain high standards of quality and reliability.
• Coordinate with other Canonical teams to align on product architecture and roadmaps.
• Work remotely with global travel up to twice a year for up to two weeks.
