Payroll Specialist

job description :

• Supports overseeing the end-to-end payroll functions for Mexico. Headcount +2,300 employees approx. Biweekly payroll.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll inputs and novelties.
• Manage voluntary and involuntary terminations.
• Day to day communication with payroll vendor and offshore team.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations, such as : Income tax by salaries, Local tax, Social Security, FONACOT.
• Bimonthly reconciliations between payroll and local books.
• Support with pantry bonds processing, Christmas bonus, Saving fund annual distribution, PTU (Profit sharing).
• Contribute to the development of local procedures and controls.
• Assist with internal and external audits (when required).
• Support HR team and Legal team to resolve issues related to pay, deductions, Overtime, Leaves, Alimony, Disability process, Legal terminations, etc.
