Role Description
We are looking for a Director of Sales based in Mexico with experience in Beverage sales. This role will be key launching and expanding our brands across the Mexican retail marketplace. The successful candidate must have experience selling and marketing beverages and calling on major retailers in Mexico. The Director of Sales will be responsible for overseeing all sales operations in the specified region, developing and implementing sales strategies, managing a sales team, and ensuring successful business development.
Essential Responsibilities
- Launch and expand retail distribution of Synergy Beverage brands throughout Mexico
- Design, develop and implement sales initiatives
- Build strong relationships with key retail customers to maximize Synergy results
- Develop and manage distributor relationships where needed to help expand distribution
- Achieve annual sales and profit goals
- Manage trade spending budget within company guidelines
- Ensure promotional activities achieve ROI goals,
- Analyze and report sales results periodically
- Assemble market & competitive intelligence and analysis across the various brands / products
- Collaborate with US retail sales as well as marketing and operation functions
- Develop sales forecasts by retailer and by brand
- Develop and maintain customer database including retailer profile, trade funding and promotional agreements
- Maintain promotional / event calendar by retailer as well as planogram / meeting calendar
- Follow company protocol for pricing, terms, packaging, etc.
- Develop sales presentations targeted to each retailer and relevant presentation elements
- Identify key trade shows and maintain event calendar and coordinate all product / support materials

Must have direct experience selling to major retailers across Food / Drug / Mass / Club / Convenience channels in MexicoMust have direct experience working with Beverage distributorsMinimum 8 years of experience in retail beverage salesBilingual in English & SpanishMust reside in Mexico CityBachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related fieldMust be self-driven to achieve goals; high energy level is essentialHighly organized and detailed orientedMust possess strong written and verbal communication skillsPossess analytical abilityStrong project management skills with ability to multi-task and prioritizeAbility to meet deadlinesAbility to work in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environmentMust be highly proficient with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.)
