Quality Control Head

Overview

Objective : Responsible for leading all quality inspection and control activities within the plant to ensure that aluminum blocks and processes meet internal standards and customer requirements. This role manages a team of inspectors and technicians, coordinates daily quality checks in production, and ensures effective containment, traceability, and communication of issues. The QC Head plays a critical role in protecting customers from defects and in supporting operations with fast response and robust control methods.

Responsibilities

• Team & Daily Management : Lead, schedule, and develop QC inspectors and technicians across shifts, ensuring inspections, audits, and quality gates are properly executed with adequate staffing and training.
• Inspection & Control : Oversee dimensional, visual, and functional checks of aluminum blocks and processes, ensuring correct usage and calibration of measurement equipment, strict traceability, and effective management of nonconforming product.
• Problem Detection & Containment : React promptly to shop-floor nonconformities through containment and segregation, support root cause analysis and corrective actions, and ensure customer protection via robust verification and follow-up.
• Compliance & Reporting : Ensure adherence to control plans, work instructions, and inspection standards, while reporting quality performance, defect trends, and inspection results to leadership and providing data for audits.
• Continuous Improvement & Culture : Identify recurring defects, propose process improvements, and foster quality awareness by supporting training programs and promoting discipline among production teams.
