About Us

Pure Paw Labs is one of the fastest-growing pet supplement brands in the US. Our hero product, DA-1 Daily All-in-One, helps dogs with allergies, itching, joint pain, gut health, and overall vitality. We are scaling aggressively and need a world-class Video Editor to craft high-converting video ads and VSLs that drive growth across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Direct Response Video Editor who knows how to take a script and turn it into a compelling story that converts. You’ll be editing :

  • VSLs (3–5 minutes) that educate and sell.
  • UGC Ads (30–90 seconds) that hook attention fast.
  • Cutdowns, mashups, and testimonials that keep our creative library fresh.

This role is for someone who understands direct response psychology, scroll-stopping editing, and can match script beats to visuals that drive action.

What You’ll Do

  • Edit high-converting VSLs & UGC ads from raw footage, stock, and voiceover.
  • Match scripts with the right visuals, pacing, and emotional tone.
  • Apply direct-response techniques : curiosity hooks, open loops, urgency, problem → solution storytelling.
  • Collaborate with our marketing and creative teams to refine scripts and storyboards.
  • Optimize cuts for platform-specific performance (Meta, TikTok, YouTube).
  • Stay up-to-date with ad creative trends and continuously push quality higher.

    • Requirements

  • Proven experience editing VSLs, UGC ads, or direct response video ads.
  • Strong portfolio of Facebook / TikTok / YouTube ads or similar.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects a plus).
  • Understanding of direct response copywriting and persuasion principles.
  • Ability to follow scripts and storyboards while adding creative flair.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Fluency in English (written & spoken).
