We are hiring multiple Software Engineers to join the Microsoft 365 team. These remote positions allow you to work from the comfort of your home. Software Engineers at Microsoft play a key role in driving technical details for their product teams. They design and implement services that are high‑scale, low‑latency, always‑on, and cost‑effective to maintain and operate. They collaborate with principal engineers and architects to design components and influence common development patterns. Strong partnership and influence skills are essential, along with motivation and the ability to collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive projects through to delivery, removing obstacles to ensure success.
• Contribute to the design of large‑scale distributed software services and solutions.
• Write clean, well‑tested code.
• Champion and improve team software engineering practices.
• Mentor junior engineers.
• Collaborate with related teams to achieve goals.
• Promote knowledge sharing and contribute to onboarding documentation.
• Participate in the on‑call rotation to monitor service health and manage incidents.
