The Manager, Product Engineering will lead a team of engineers to develop and enhance products that set new standards for performance and quality. This role combines hands‑on technical leadership with strategic oversight, guiding both new product development and sustaining engineering projects. Acting as a mentor and innovator, this leader will drive design excellence, improve engineering processes, and inspire a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

What You’ll Do
- Deliver on technical aspects of project designs that satisfy functional, performance, reliability, regulatory, and other internal company requirements.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional departments to facilitate the successful execution of projects.
- Collaborate with both domestic and international suppliers / partners / contract manufacturers to deliver products that are internally developed, co‑developed, or sourced.
- Utilize the stage‑gate product development framework for New Product Development.
- Utilize Technical Review processes and tools for engineered changes.
- Assess and address project technical risks in compliance with appropriate standards and corporate policies.
- Lead requirement generation activities, derived from internal / external customers’ needs.
- Lead the derivation of required analytical activities and testing for Verification and Validation of product / System / Component requirements through Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA).
- Lead root cause analysis for problem‑solving, and implement corrective action strategies based on findings.
- Serve as a Manager and a Technical Project Lead to lead technical teams through any engineered change.
- Lead direct reports, including hiring, coaching, mentoring, performance management, and development.
- Demonstrate technical leadership by coaching and mentoring others.
- Seek and lead continuous improvement activities around product development processes and methodologies.
- Build technical competencies within the group.
What You Need
1‑2 years’ supervisory experienceExtensive knowledge in mechanical engineering and product developmentEducation : Bachelor’s Degree at an ABET‑accredited university in EngineeringTechnical Skills :
Expert in MS Office, especially Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and ExcelAbility to create and maintain a resourcing model for direct reports.Design application expertise across different manufacturing methods, including, but not limited to, injection molding, casting, machining, and sheet metalPractitioner in Design for Manufacturing (DFM) / Design for Assembly (DFA)Practitioner of 3D CAD tools (CREO preferred) and PLM systems (Windchill preferred)Practitioner in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)Practitioner in applying Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Solid Mechanics, and Vibration First Principles to solve engineering problemsPractitioner in Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)Practitioner in Statistical tools, methods such as Tolerance Analysis, Regression Modeling, ANOVA, Weibull, Casula, nd Predictive Analysis, Optimization, etc.Practitioner with Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) Creation and ManagementPractitioner in predicting and managing budgets for technical activities (OPEX and CAPEX) related to project executionA practitioner in Design for Reliability (DFR) is preferredDesign for Six Sigma (DFSS) Green Belt is preferredPhysical Demands :
