Accounting Analyst Intern

We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounting Specialist to support FOX's operations in Mexico. This position is in Mexico City and will support Fox's local operations related to accounts payable and accounts receivable.

This role will focus on assisting with onboarding new vendors and customers, effectively communicating with internal and external stakeholders, and verifying statutory compliance requirements to ensure timely processing of invoices. A strong understanding of electronic invoicing standards (CFDI and SAT) is required. Experience with Coupa, Graphite, and Workday is a plus.

This role requires professional command of Spanish and English.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Process and validate supplier invoices in compliance with tax and regulations in Mexico. Includes ensuring that all CFDI documentation is correct and complies with SAT standards.

Assist with accounts receivable process, which includes verifying that customer invoices are in compliance with tax and related regulations in Mexico, including CFDI / SAT submissions.

Collaborate with suppliers, customers, internal teams and FOX's shared service team(s) to assist with onboarding, resolve billing issues and ensure timely payments / collections.

Support vendor and customer registration and documentation review.

Reconcile vendor and customer statements and manage pending items resolution.

Maintain organized records for audits and compliance reporting.

Identify and escalate any irregularities in transactions.

Support continuous improvement initiatives within the accounting and finance area.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

~3 to 5 years of accounts payable and / or accounts receivable experience. Experience in both A / P and A / R is a plus.

~ Professional command of Spanish and English (oral and written).

~ Solid knowledge of electronic invoicing requirements in Mexico.

~ Strong work and communication skills, with a focus on customer service.

~ Detail-oriented and ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines.

NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER

Familiarity with systems such as Coupa, Graphite or Workday is desirable but not required.

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or similar, preferred.
