Job Summary

  • This role focuses on strategic procurement of indirect goods and services within assigned locations and categories.
  • You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of purchase requisitions, from verification to conversion into Purchase Orders using SAP.
  • Develop and execute Request for Proposal / Quote (RFP / Q) processes, review submitted quotations, create price comparison sheets, present sourcing recommendations, conclude contracts, and place purchase orders accordingly.
  • You will also define and implement local category / sub-category strategies for assigned locations in alignment with Category Procurement team and internal stakeholders.
  • Benchmark responsible spend regularly, identify opportunities for improvement, lead supplier negotiations, and implement potentials accordingly.
  • Maintain transparency of all contracts, frequently review terms and validities.
  • Improve existing procedures and systems related to indirect purchasing.

Your Background

  • A 4-year degree in Business Administration or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in indirect site procurement or category procurement team in the automotive or manufacturing industry is preferred.
  • Negotiations and contract management of international and local suppliers are essential skills.
  • You must have strong stakeholder management and presentation skills.
  • Analytical, team-oriented, well-organized, and able to set priorities are necessary qualities for this role.
  • Experience with MS-Office Tools and SAP is highly desirable.
