The IBTM Americas sales team is based in Mexico and includes a Senior Sales Executive (the position to be filled), a Junior Sales Executive, and a Key Account Manager, supported by an international executive focused on the U.S. and Canada markets and additional support for international sales. The structure is designed to ensure each member can focus on commercial activities, with dedicated support areas for client service and collections, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.

About The Role

We are seeking a Senior Sales Executive to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets for IBTM Americas. In this role, you will focus on acquiring new business and strengthening relationships with strategic accounts across the events and tourism sector. You will be responsible for prospecting, account management, and representing the IBTM Americas brand to key stakeholders in the industry.

Responsibilities

• Meet IBTM Americas sales and revenue goals.
• Prospect, identify, and secure new clients within the events and tourism sector.
• Generate opportunities through networking, referrals, and industry events.
• Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic and corporate accounts with high potential.
• Provide timely follow-up to leads generated through marketing campaigns.
• Build long-term relationships with decision-makers and industry partners.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are met and issues are resolved.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
• Monitor, track, and report on sales KPIs and progress toward targets.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of sales processes.
• Stay informed about market trends, competitors, and emerging opportunities in the events industry.
