Job DescriptionResponsibilities : Design, develop, and maintain internal tools and enhancements around LaunchDarkly feature toggles.Build capabilities that improve the user experience for engineers using feature flagsPartner with engineering and product teams to define and implement best practices for feature flag usage, rollout strategies, and cleanup processes.Provide technical guidance and enablement to teams adopting feature toggle capabilities.Collaborate on documentation, architectural decision records (ADRs), and training materials.Monitor and analyze feature flag usage to identify opportunities for improvement.Required Qualifications : 3–7+ years of software engineering experience in backend development (Java, Python, , React or similar).
Hands-on experience with feature flag platforms such as LaunchDarkly, Unleash, or equivalent.Experience in building internal developer tools or platforms.Strong understanding of feature toggle best practices : rollout strategies, kill switches, cleanup, experimentation, etc.Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and CI / CD pipelines.Excellent collaboration and communication skills, including the ability to create clear documentation and training guides.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.Salary / Rate : $20-$25 / hour (depends on experience level).
This is a contract to hire position with candidates expected to work 40 hours / week.
Full-Time Conversion Salary : MXN 75,000–MXN 80,000 per month.
