The Equipment Maintenance Engineer is responsible for checking, repairing and servicing machinery, equipment, systems and infrastructures to ensure that industrial machinery and equipment runs smoothly and reliably.General ResponsibilitiesLeads electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing processDismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawingsUses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkoutsLeads rebuilds manufacturing equipment as required.
