The Role

This position is for a Principal SDET — leading the design, development, and delivery of automation test frameworks for our next-generation software platform, including computer vision, machine learning, sensor fusion, and more. The successful candidate will provide technical automation leadership within the Software QA Team, overseeing all aspects of QA. Experience testing N-Tier applications and data platforms in an Agile environment is essential, along with a good understanding of databases.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, document, and maintain tools, test cases, and automation frameworks for current and future software platforms.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Software Engineering, DevOps, and other teams in release planning and coordination.
• Interpret requirements to develop, automate, and execute functional and data validation tests.
• Work with infrastructure teams on TDD / CI / CD strategies and environments.
• Contribute to the design of a testable platform, applications, and data models.
• Ensure quality, performance, and reliability from the start.
• Participate effectively in Agile Scrum teams, communicating technical details clearly.
• Document functions, interfaces, performance criteria, and test results.
• Estimate effort, schedule tasks, and meet project milestones.
• Manage defects, diagnose issues, and document findings.
• Work closely with developers on unit testing, issue resolution, and data analysis.
• Lead or support the technical vision of assigned products.
• Train and mentor engineers, fostering growth and efficiency improvements.
• Identify and implement solutions for process improvements and new tools.
