Position Objective

Responsible for maintaining the desired inventory level on components to satisfy MRP (MASTER REQUIREMENT PLANNING). The raw material planner is the liaison between the production, warehouse, production control and engineering departments.

Responsibilities :

• Inventory control of material for direct use.
• Generates the corresponding requirements.
• Monitor the shipments that the supplier makes in JSS Monterrey plants.
• Keep updated set ups of part numbers by supplier (in JSS systems, such as PRMS, I-SUPPLY, etc...).
• Interacts with company departments in the implementation of engineering changes.
• Provide feedback to production schedulers to avoid line stoppages.
