Senior Solution Architect

In a client-facing role, you are comfortable in deep-dive technical workshops and in board-level sales presentations.

Having earned your stripes in designing web & mobile-based platforms, you have no problem finding the scope in large-scale, complex projects.

To the development team, you are a vital mainstay during implementation, a hands-on technology leader.

To customers and partners, you are the expert liaison with a keen sense for their needs.

What you'll doYou will be part of the development team and will fulfil a leading role demonstrated by exceptional performance.

You translate customer requirements into a distinguished design, discussing both highly specific technical details and business outcomes.

You focus on security, deployment, performance, caching, sizing, scalability and reliability.

You work to deliver projects on briefing, time and budget, while providing the structure and space for the team to build the solutions you've defined.

You are a hands-on architect who partners with engineering leads to design, build, and run scalable solutions.

You take ownership of architecture and its production performance, leading from the front in critical incidents and driving resolution when it matters most.

You also create technical architecture assets, work with QA to define test strategy, lead DevOps in defining and implementing CI / CD pipelines, ensure non-functional requirements are met, and you will travel significantly, spending time on-site during inception and training / workshops.

Who you are

• You have professionally worked with Enterprise Integration Patterns and Frameworks;
• When we ask you about architectural frameworks, you easily draw on knowledge and best practices;
• You have experience with CI / CD practices and platforms;
• You have a demonstrable understanding of Service Oriented Architectures (SOA), as well as Micro-Services Architecture;
• Your knowledge of the Java platform exceeds our expectations;
• You have excellent communication and presentation skills in English;
• You are self-sufficient as a Solutions Architect and able to manage clients / stakeholders;
• You have broad, operational knowledge of application servers, databases, load balancers and other infrastructure components required to deploy web applications in a highly available and scalable environment;
• You have created solutions for financial services (especially banking);
• You have experience with scalable Web application development as well as Mobile App delivery;
• You are familiar with architectural patterns, such as Microservices, CQRS, and event sourcing;
• You have experience with server virtualization and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes;

You have professional experience with Integration Platforms and API Gateways.
