This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a DevSecOps Engineer in Latin America.

As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing secure, scalable cloud solutions for global clients. You will optimize development pipelines, enforce security best practices, and provide hands‑on support across cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP. Your work will involve infrastructure automation, monitoring, and troubleshooting while collaborating with distributed teams in agile environments. You will serve as a trusted advisor for cloud security, helping shape DevSecOps strategies and processes. This fully remote role offers autonomy, opportunities for professional growth, and engagement with innovative technology projects across multiple industries.

Accountabilities

  • Propose and implement best practices to enhance cloud performance, security, and resilience
  • Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure, including computing, networking, and security components
  • Automate deployments and manage CI / CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and support cloud‑based applications and microservices architectures
  • Produce solution design documentation and obtain stakeholder agreement on technical strategies
  • Evaluate technical risks, create mitigation plans, and elevate issues when necessary
  • Collaborate with globally distributed agile teams to ensure secure and efficient software delivery

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in IT, with 3+ years in DevSecOps roles
  • Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud‑native security tools (e.g., Wiz)
  • Proficiency in Kubernetes, containerization, Linux system administration, and scripting (Bash, Python)
  • Hands‑on experience with CI / CD pipelines, automation, and Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Helm)
  • Solid understanding of microservices architecture and secure software development practices (Shift Left philosophy)
  • Advanced English proficiency for collaborating with international teams and clients
  • Strong time management, problem‑solving skills, and ability to work independently in a remote environment
