Including working with the business partners to ensure enhancement requests align with enterprise processes and systems to match Carhartt’s strategic visionCoordinate and review new functional business requirements and determine the impact on the production SAP environmentConsult with business process owners to identify, define and document business needs and objectivesWork with business partners and IT leadership to determine priority of enhancement requestsDay to day SAP support and maintenance of the production environment including system monitoringEnsure that the process designs comply with requirements, established methodologies, and best practices (where applicable)Ensure business system implications are communicated to the business Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and documents and communicates those requirements accordinglyLead business process mapping, including process flows, data flow diagrams, entity relationship diagrams, etc. Assist business with development of business case for enhancementsIdentify, assess and mitigate process riskResponsible for ongoing relationship with business process owners and subject matter expertsCollaborate effectively with the technology, security, and application delivery teams regarding Sales and Distribution (OTC) business area needsRequired Education BA / BS in Information Technology / Computer Science or equivalent. Work experience in systems and programming in a business environment may be considered equivalent.Required Skills & Experience (6+ years’ experience in SAP OTC / S&D as Consultant (not as an end user) is required in areas related to application development, configuration, or support of SAP systemsSAP Sales and Distribution (OTC) business process expertise and a solid understanding of integrated end-to-end processes. Solid understanding of the integration between SAP PP, MM, and IM required. Working knowledge of S / 4HANA and Fiori apps related to OTC.Experience in integrating OTC with tools such as EDI / GSX / WMI / C4 / WebSphere using SAP Idocs (preferred)Strong expertise in IDoc processes and batch job management.Experience in retail or wholesale apparel (domain knowledge preferred)Knowledge of SAP-AFS / SAP Retail or SAP FMS is highly recommendedKnowledge and work experience in SalesForce.com (preferred)Proven ability to lead the development of systems and projectsExcellent written and oral communication skills with the proven ability to communicate with all levels including management and retail partnersOutstanding organizational skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and attention to detailFlexible and responsive to new or special projects assignedAbility to work in a team environment with coworkers and internal customersPhysical Requirements and Working Conditions Typical office environment; cubicle setting.Extended periods of time sitting, standing, typing on a computer is required.Willing to work some weekends if necessary.National and International travel required (up to 5%).Carhartt is a tobacco free workplace.
