Overview

The position draft, review and negotiate supplier’s contracts for its region. This role provides legal advance and concrete action related to all legal matters, legal entities, contracts for suppliers within a specific Country market and corporate compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Corporate Compliance

Supervise the appropriate management of Corporate Books & Minutes of the Company.

Control drafting of different Powers of Attorney, Public Deeds and Legal Certifications

Control the Legal Archive of the Legal Department

Supervise the coordination of transactions with local Notary Publics for the appropriate country market.

Investigate and perform all Business Transactions before local authorities.

Perform the drafting, reviewing & negotiation process of agreements for the appropriate country market.

Elaborate advice to the appropriate departments regarding licenses, permits and authorizations from local authorities.

Participate on a day-to-day basis in the department standard operating procedures and Policies in the appropriate country market.

Collect notions of foreign legislation.

Perform setup support and Incorporation support for new Companies

Participate with support of high-level litigation (for example INAI, Civil Lawsuits, Criminal Prosecution).

Participate and support in acquisitions

Arrange and coordinate with Headquarters regarding reports, tools, day-to-day information requirements, database updates, internal audits and participating in monthly Group-Lawyers calls, among others)

Education and specific training

Bachelor's Degree in Law, Master's Degree is desired.

Work Experience

5 (five) years of prior experience in Corporate Law and Contracts.

3 years in a highly-respected law firm or company, or a notary, desired

5 years in contract negotiation, call centre prior experience desired.

3 years of prior experience in Corporate compliance

Technical skills

Basic English Legal Terminology

Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PPT)

Adobe Reader (Adobe Acrobat desired)

English (high level) TOEFL 400 (paper-based)
