With a progressive mission supporting diverse sexualities and relationship styles, they’re now focused on scaling to 5M+ users with new features, improved matching, and modernized infrastructure.
Senior Fullstack Developer (Mobile-Oriented), fully remote (LATAM), with a mobile-first product, is part of a 6-person squad delivering secure, scalable features across backend services and mobile experiences. A strong background in React Native is essential.
Responsibilities
- Build and scale backend services in Node.js + TypeScript
- Contribute to React Native features across iOS and Android
- Design secure, testable, cloud-native systems on AWS (DynamoDB, GraphQL future)
- Collaborate with squad leads on architecture and product design
- Support trust, safety, and member experience through strong engineering
- Participate in AM / PM standups across global time zones
- Ensure stability and performance at multi-million user scale
Qualifications
8+ years of software engineering, with backend depth (Node.js, TypeScript)Experience with mobile-first products (React Native required)Strong AWS knowledge (DynamoDB, microservices, serverless patterns)Background working on scaled consumer products (social, marketplace, or H2H apps)Clear English communication for distributed, async-first collaborationCollaborative mindset—open to feedback, avoids rigid “my way” approachesComfort aligning with progressive, sex-positive product valuesBonus Points
