Job Description
We are seeking an Application Developer II to join our Data & Analytics team. This role supports and develops data‑driven applications that handle essential business processes such as ledgering, reinsurance, and analytics data processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain applications and automated processes supporting data operations.
- Support daily data processing activities, ensuring data integrity and system performance.
- Participate in the migration of legacy SQL Server processes to Yellowbrick (PostgreSQL).
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to manage data movement and system tasks.
- Conduct structured code reviews and ensure compliance with internal standards.
- Collaborate with team members to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across environments.
- Participate in on‑call rotations to provide production support as part of a shared schedule.
- Contribute to the design and documentation of database and system solutions.
- Prepare accurate test data and participate in testing reviews to identify and address potential issues.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve process efficiency and automation.
- Track and resolve defects, document fixes, and communicate dependencies according to established standards.
- Work closely with project managers to provide accurate time estimates, communicate deviations, and ensure timely delivery of assigned tasks.
