About the Role :

The Financial Collections Specialist oversees the company's financial collection department, ensuring timely and accurate payment processing. They supervise staff to maximize efficiency and work closely with external partners to drive successful collections.

Key Responsibilities include :

Coordinate team responsibilities to optimize performance
Oversee outstanding payments within the personal finance department
Create strategies to increase successful debt collections
Recruit, train, and evaluate team members based on projected collections
Provide detailed reporting and analysis on collections efforts, trends, and issues

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

3-5 years of direct experience in credit and collections, with sales, negotiation, and persuasion skills

2+ years of management experience

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Bilingual in English / Spanish required
