Role Overview
We’re looking for a Financial Controller to oversee the accounting and financial operations of growing businesses. This role involves ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, maintaining compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic insights to support decision-making. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in finance and accounting, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
Maintain and improve internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures.
Monitor cash flow, analyze variances, and identify improvement opportunities.
Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure compliance.
Manage accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, and payroll.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business planning and performance analysis.
Present clear and actionable financial insights to management or clients.
✅ Must-Have Qualifications
5–6 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or FP&A.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Strong knowledge of US GAAP
Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting tools (e.g., Bill.com , Gusto, NetSuite, Quickbooks Online etc.).
Fluent English (written and spoken) — essential for communication with clients or leadership teams.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Bonus Points For
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification.
Exposure to startups or fast-growing environments.
