We're seeking an experienced Strapi Developer / Technical Lead who is fluent in Spanish and has hands-on experience with Strapi v5 migration, preferably in AWS-hosted environments.
You'll be responsible for leading CMS development projects, managing Strapi-based implementations, and working closely with global clients - especially in Spanish-speaking markets.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex CMS challenges, is detail-oriented with strong technical architecture skills and can lead conversations with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Key Responsibilities :
Lead the architecture, development and migration of Strapi CMS (with focus on v5 migration).
Develop custom plugins, integrations and extensions using Node.js / JavaScript / TypeScript.
Work with DevOps teams to deploy and scale Strapi solutions on AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.).
Collaborate with frontend teams integrating Strapi APIs (REST or GraphQL).
Design and implement secure, scalable and performant content models.
Manage project timelines, code quality and documentation.
Act as a technical point of contact for client teams - mostly Spanish-speaking.
Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews.Requirements :
~5+ years of backend or full-stack development experience.
~ Minimum 2 years of hands-on Strapi experience (including v5 migration).
~ Proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript and modern backend frameworks.
~ Experience working on AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudFormation preferred).
~ Strong understanding of CMS architecture and API integrations (REST / GraphQL).
~ Solid grasp of Git, CI / CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, ECS).
~ Fluency in Spanish (written and verbal); good command of English for global collaboration.Nice to Have :
Experience with frontend frameworks (React, Next.js, or Vue.js).
Exposure to Agile development methodologies.
Experience in multi-language or region-based CMS configurations.
Knowledge of Headless CMS best practices and performance optimization.
