Advanced conversational English Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., UGNX, CATIA, Creo). Proven experience in automotive engineering with specialization in at least one of the breaks, breaks components or steering
The Brakes components Design Release Engineer is responsible for leading and executing the design and development of braking systems for automotive vehicles. This role involves collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with safety, performance and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Design and development of breaks components
- Conceptualize, design and develop breaks components, including discs, pads and calipers.
- Complete engineering deliverables throughout the complete program life on time with high quality for all milestones, from Product definition, Target setting, Supplier sourcing, Engineering development, Validation and testing, and up to Launch and production stages.
- Lead issue resolution to ensure deliverables are met throughout the various milestones.
- Manage tools and processes to track and follow up engineering and program delivery.
- Lead resolution of prototype and final assembly build issues.
