Execute the sales strategy, as well as plan and prepare sales forecasts in collaboration with the head of the business unit.
Achieve sales and gross margin targets defined within the area of responsibility with dedicated OFC teams to improve market share, as well as introduce best practices to maximize customer satisfaction.
Ensure observation and analysis of markets, competitors and customers to develop and improve sales performance
Ensure cooperation and agreement with marketing and SCM within the yearly planning process for products, volumes and prices.
Manage accounts by effective negotiation in consideration of defined guidelines and margins to maximize revenues and achieve sales targets
Where appropriate provide timely and qualitative support to key accounts (International and Regional) with the aim of maintaining high sales productivity, pricing policy and optimal level of service.
Ensure management of customer claims with the dedicated customer OFC teams to provide optimized sales and effective technical solutions
Collect information on local industry issues and cooperate with local industry association, authorities etc. as required to expand the network and industrial influence
Establish sales budget with superior and customer OFC resources to ensure growth and profitability in the defined country / area in accordance with Regional / BU strategy
Support development of country / area sales objectives and plans as well as market analysis and research
Related university degree or long-term commercial practices
6 years sales / commercial experience in chemical industry or in packaging industry
