About the role The Tax Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing all tax processes for Essential Home, ensuring compliance with local and international tax laws, as well as with global tax policies and procedures. This role is key to minimizing tax risks, ethically and efficiently optimizing the tax burden, and ensuring alignment with corporate strategies. Essential Home is a division of Reckitt Benckiser focused on home care products such as Air Wick, Mortein, Calgon, and Cillit Bang.

The responsibilities

• Tax Compliance : Prepare and review tax returns (Income Tax, VAT, withheld taxes).
• Ensure compliance with monthly and annual tax obligations, including electronic accounting.
• Lead processes for recovering favorable balances through refunds or offsets.
• Analyze foreign payments and determine applicable withholdings using international treaties.
• Prepare a “defense file” for uncertain tax positions and SAT audits.
• Conduct analysis and submit declarations related to final beneficiaries, low-tax jurisdictions, multilateral instruments, reportable schemes, and relevant transactions.
