Here’s what you need to know about this position :

THE WORK

  • Oversee the full design program lifecycle, aligning embedded team efforts with business objectives and product goals, from project intake to delivery.
  • Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of six designers across UX, research, visual design, marketing, and branding, fostering collaboration and growth.
  • Partner closely with product, engineering, and UX leadership to ensure design and research influence the early stages of all development projects.
  • Implement and refine design processes leveraging AI-driven tools and innovative delivery models to improve quality, speed, and impact.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure UX contributes strategically to solution design, user flows, and overall product strategy.
  • Establish quality metrics and performance rubrics to measure design outcomes, user experience improvements, and operational efficiency.
  • Identify and mitigate program risks proactively, ensuring consistent delivery and alignment with organizational priorities.

NEEDED EXPERTISE

  • 8 - 10 years of experience in program management, design leadership, or similar roles within UX and product development environments.
  • Proven record leading embedded or cross-functional design teams, ideally within tech or large-scale product organizations.
  • Deep understanding of UX design, user research, and agile methodologies, with hands‑on experience using agile tools for tracking progress and dashboards.
  • Strategic planning and execution skills, with strong communication and stakeholder management to influence across disciplines.
  • Expertise in the latest UX methodologies, tools, and trends, including the integration of AI solutions in design workflows.
  • Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills to manage complex timelines, competing priorities, and fast‑paced environments.
  • Familiarity with public cloud or enterprise‑scale ecosystems (e.g., advertising, technology, or major tech companies preferred).
