As a Tax Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in executing tax operations and implementing both internal and external processes to ensure compliance with Mexican tax law.
Your responsibilities will include :
Tax Operations
: Execute tax operations and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
Transaction Review
: Review sales and purchasing transactions for accurate tax classification and record-keeping.
Stakeholder Communication
: Maintain effective communication and negotiation with company network partners, external advisors (including Tax and Customs Authorities), and business partners.
In-House Tax Reviews
: Conduct in-house tax reviews and implement necessary corrective actions to enhance compliance processes.
Reporting and Monitoring
: Report to the local Tax Manager and monitor changes in tax law in Mexico to ensure ongoing compliance.
What should you bring along?
Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, or Accounting.
Over 5 years of professional experience in an international consulting firm, law firm, tax department of an international group, or tax authorities.
In-depth knowledge of Mexican tax regulations and experience in accounting.
Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
Proficiency in MS Office applications.
A highly motivated individual with strong communication and negotiation skills.
