SAP Functional Expert for AP

Job Description

The Regional Functional Expert for Accounts Payable will play a pivotal role within the SAP environment and other systems / tools that interface with it.

This position requires a dynamic individual who can contribute in keeping business as usual (BAU) activities working and up to speed, and as well will also drive and play the bridging role between business and finance departments in projects and improvements initiatives.

Special focus of the Associate is to make sure all the SAP change requests and interfacing with other software solutions will work seamlessly and according to the business requirements.

The Functional Expert will collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders, including IT services, Business Users, Global Process Owners, and Operations teams, to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of the Accounts Payable Financial SAP environment for North America and Latam regions.

What are we looking for?

• Maintain and enhance existing Accounts Payable processes to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Provide expert guidance and support to Business Users on Accounts Payable functionalities.
• Adapt existing solutions and processes to new realities, make sure they work with new implementations.
• Lead and participate in projects aimed at improving Accounts Payable processes and related systems integrations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features and enhancements in SAP ATLAS.
• Involved in various phases of project management, whenever a new Financial solution needs to be implemented in synergy with SAP.
• Acts as a liaison between - and not limited to - IT services, business users, global process owners, and operations teams.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among stakeholders to drive process improvements.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance support users understanding of Accounts Payable solutions.
