Job Description : Electrical Engineer – Robotics Projects
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our team for a full-time assignment focused on automation and robotics projects. This role is ideal for someone with advanced technical capabilities in electrical design, who is eager to contribute to high-impact automotive initiatives and is comfortable with international and domestic travel.
Responsibilities
- Electrical & Pneumatic Design : Develop detailed electrical and pneumatic engineering for control panels and field devices.
- Documentation : Create and maintain BOMs, manufacturing drawings, connection diagrams, and safety documentation.
- Project Support : Collaborate with purchasing and project management teams, support manufacturing and assembly personnel.
- Client Interaction : Act as the electrical lead in client-facing projects, participating in meetings and delivering documentation.
- Compliance & Safety : Ensure designs meet American and European standards, including UL and machinery safety regulations.
- Risk Analysis : Participate in risk assessments and ensure compliance with safety performance levels and categories.
- International Collaboration : Work with global teams to align on project requirements and deliverables.
Requirements
Experience : Proven experience in electrical design, preferably in the automotive sector and robotic cell development.Software Proficiency :Advanced EPLAN (including Macros and Preplanning)Intermediate ProPanel and AutoCADAutoCAD Electrical (desirable)Technical Knowledge :Electrical and pneumatic engineeringUnifilar diagrams (Power, Control, Safety, Networks)BOM creation and tray routingElectrical and pneumatic consumption calculationsSafe distance calculationsMotor and VFD selectionPLC selection (Siemens, Allen Bradley)Machinery safety standards (Performance Level, Categories)Soft Skills : Strong teamwork, responsibility, and commitment to project development.Languages : Full professional fluency in English and Spanish, both spoken and written.Travel Readiness : Must be available for international travel (e.g., China : Nov 2–20, with possible extension) and domestic travel (e.g., Monterrey : 3-month stays with extension options). Must have or be able to obtain a valid passport, Chinese visa, and U.S. visa.Work Environment
Location : On-site at our offices in Antara, Polanco, Ciudad de México. This is not a remote position.Equipment : All necessary computing equipment, software, and licenses will be provided.Travel : International and domestic travel required as part of project execution.
