THE WORK

• Own the end-to-end design, architecture, and delivery of critical Ruby on Rails applications.
• Lead technical strategy and architectural decisions to ensure scalability, reliability, and security at production scale.
• Mentor and influence engineers across the team, fostering best practices, code quality, and a strong TDD culture.
• Collaborate closely with Product leadership to shape features, trade-offs, and the long-term technical roadmap.
• Identify and implement performance optimizations and improvements to development workflows.
• Take ownership of production incidents, leading root-cause analysis and preventive strategies.
• Champion clean, maintainable, and testable code across the organization.
• Work in a hybrid model, spending two days per week in our Mexico City office to balance collaboration with focused development time.
