OverviewSolution Engineer, Gemini Adoption, Google for Education (Portuguese, Spanish or English)About the jobAs a Solutions Engineer for Google for Education, you will be at the forefront of driving the adoption of Gemini, our AI, within the Higher Education sector.
You will be a key player in a dedicated team, responsible for developing and executing the technical go-to-market strategy for Gemini.
Your primary objective will be to foster meaningful adoption that demonstrates the transformative value of Gemini for teaching, learning, and research within top universities and colleges.Please submit your resume in English - we can only consider applications submitted in this language.Only applications of candidates with Mexican citizenship will be evaluated for this role in compliance with the provisions of Article 7 of the Federal Labor Law.ResponsibilitiesIdentify customer business and academic requirements to architect solutions that integrate Gemini into their existing infrastructure.Act as a technical advocate for Gemini, promoting its capabilities in customer-facing meetings, workshops, and public events.Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Sales teams to provide customer feedback, influence the product roadmap, and stay ahead of industry trends.Present compelling demonstrations of Gemini and address technical questions that arise throughout the sales and adoption process.Take responsibility for technical aspects of solutions including bid responses, product and solution briefings, partner training, proof-of-concept work and coordination of supporting technical resources.QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.8 years of experience in technical sales, education technology, or a related field.Ability to communicate fluently in Portuguese, Spanish and English to interact with local business partners and customers.Preferred qualificationsExperience with artificial intelligence, machine learning, or other transformative technologies.Experience in architecting cloud-based analytics systems and dashboard experiences.Experience supporting technology adoption and change-management initiatives with customers.Knowledge of web and related technologies (e.g., HTTP, APIs, XML / HTML), including web application development and integration.Understanding of the Higher Education sector, including its unique issues and decision-making processes.Google is proud to be an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
