About the Job

The Head of FP&A will lead financial planning and analysis across the company, providing strategic insights and decision support to senior leadership and the Board. This role oversees budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial modeling to evaluate past performance and shape future strategy.

  • Analyzing past performance : Managing budgets, monitoring results, and conducting variance analysis to explain “what happened and why.”
  • Driving future strategy : Developing financial models, scenario planning, LTV frameworks, product profitability analyses, and valuation exercises to support long-term value creation.

The role reports directly to the CFO and works closely with the CEO, senior executives, and Private Equity sponsors. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in Investment Banking or Private Equity, with expertise in valuation, modeling, and capital allocation.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead the company’s annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and long-range planning processes.
  • Deliver clear variance analysis and performance reviews, explaining financial and operational results at both consolidated and business unit levels.
  • Develop frameworks for product-level analysis, identifying KPIs, profitability drivers, and levers that influence growth and margin performance.
  • Create and maintain advanced financial models to evaluate business scenarios, stress-test assumptions, and support decision-making on strategic initiatives.
  • Partner with business leaders to assess new product launches, pricing strategies, partnerships, and investments.
  • Conduct LTV, CAC, and unit economics analyses to maximize product value creation and shareholder returns.
  • Provide strategic decision support for M&A opportunities, capital raising, and other growth initiatives, in collaboration with the CFO and Corporate Development.
  • Serve as the financial liaison to investors and the Board, preparing materials that clearly articulate financial performance, projections, and key drivers of value.
  • Enhance and standardize reporting processes, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and relevance of financial data for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing FP&A team, building capabilities in financial modeling, strategic analysis, and business partnership.
  • Implement and continuously improve FP&A systems, tools, and processes to increase efficiency and automation.
  • Partner closely with Treasury, Accounting, Tax, and Operations teams to ensure alignment and provide integrated financial perspectives.
  • Act as a thought leader, challenging assumptions, identifying risks and opportunities, and driving forward-looking insights that inform company strategy.
  • Experience, Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, engineering, accounting, economics, or related field required.
  • Master’s degree in business administration (MBA) and / or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive FP&A or corporate finance experience, ideally in multinational companies or PE-backed businesses.
  • Must have prior experience in Investment Banking and / or Private Equity, with strong exposure to financial modeling, valuation, and capital markets.
  • Proven track record of leading FP&A in growth-oriented, complex, multi-country operations.
  • Strong experience with valuation, LTV analysis, and scenario modeling.
  • Direct exposure to Board and / or investor relations, particularly with Private Equity investors, is strongly preferred.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and financial modeling; experience with FP&A platforms (e.g., Adaptive, Anaplan, Hyperion, or equivalent).
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.
