Controller

JOB SUMMARY : The Controller oversees all financial operations, including accounting, reporting, compliance, and internal controls.

This role ensures accurate financial data and supports strategic decisions through timely analysis.ORGANIZATIONAL AND REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS : Reports to the SVP of Finance & Accounting.

Supervises Senior Accountants and Accountants handling Support Center, fixed assets, projects, and community-level transactions.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS : Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP.Manage daily accounting operations including general ledger, payroll, projects, allocations, and fixed assets.Support Communities by streamlining financial processes and collaboration.Advise on technical GAAP and statutory reporting; coordinate with External Reporting Director.Prepare tax-related financial information and returns.Maintain internal controls and ensure regulatory compliance.Coordinate external audits and ensure timely completion.Implement financial systems and process improvements.Provide financial analysis to senior leadership.Mentor accounting staff and promote professional development.Support financing activities and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.Participate in special projects including technology implementations.Ensure compliance with laws and company policies.OTHER DUTIES : Responsibilities may evolve with organizational needs.

Occasional travel and emergency duty may be required.RequirementsBachelor's degree in accounting or finance.Minimum 10 years of managerial accounting experience, including Controller or Director level.ERP implementation experience, CPA, CMA, or MBA.Expertise in US GAAP and financial reporting.Strong leadership and employee relations skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Self-motivated and collaborative.Discretion in handling confidential information.Proficiency in ERP and financial software.Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Fluency in English for job duties and interactions.Benefits Christmas Bonus : 30 days, to be paid in December.
